Tembo Consulting is based in Harpenden, Herfordshire and is run by Rebecca D'Cruz.

Rebecca started programming at the tender age of 12 when she was introduced to the then state-of-the-art ZX Spectrum! She spent many hours creating games and animations; problem-solving and creativity became a lifelong passion.

Rebecca studied Computing at school and went on to achieve the ACP Advanced Diploma in Computer Science (Distinction). After ten years' commercial experience as a programmer and Business Analyst, Rebecca became self-employed writing websites and providing IT services to small businesses whilst raising her children. In 2010 she started running programming classes for children from as young as 8.

In 2011 she gained a distinction in the Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Hertfordshire. She is currently a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, runs after-school programming clubs and trains teachers to teach Computer Science and programming.
